AMPED211 / COMMISSIONS

Your sound. Your story. Your amp.

An amp you already love, made to feel like you. These two commissioned builds belong to musicians who play live—so the new look gets to leave the workshop and take the stage.

customized Fender Champion 600 teal with doily grille cloth and legs

THE FIRST COMMISSION / FENDER CHAMPION 600

Made to match.

My first commission was a chance to customize an amp to match Suzanne Nuttall’s Fender guitar. A teal cabinet, a doily-style grille and legs gave this Champion 600 a character of its own.

I love seeing this one on stage. An amp becomes part of the performer’s look, as well as their sound.

customized Peavey Audition 20 denim cabinet, plaid grille cloth, copper hardware

AMPED211 #008 / PEAVEY AUDITION 20

A family amp. A country soul.

My neighbour Cameron Beaudry wanted a new look for an amp that had belonged to his dad. He plays country music, so denim, plaid and copper-coloured hardware helped this amp look the part.

The result keeps that personal history at the heart of the build, with a look ready for its next chapter on stage.
